Andrea began her Pilates journey in 2021 when she wanted to feel at home in her body again after the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. After beginning her regular Pilates practice, she began to notice positive changes in her stamina for daily tasks, energy at work as a teacher, strength, and flexibility. Andrea chose to dig deeper a few years later and completed her comprehensive instructor certification through Club Pilates in 2025. She is passionate about helping others accomplish their goals for mobility, strength, flexibility, and functional movement through Pilates. In addition to offering private training, Andrea teaches group classes at Club Pilates in Shawnee, South Overland Park, and Liberty.

  • The first time we meet will be the initial assessment, which should take around 30-45 minutes. In this session, we will discuss your goals, complete a brief posture/movement assessment, and try out some of the foundational Pilates movements as they apply to your unique goals. From there, we will make a plan to help you accomplish your goals and get your first few full sessions on the calendar.

  • My home studio space has a Balanced Body Allegro reformer with a sitting box and jump board, BOSU balance trainer, and a mat. I use the equipment in combination with a variety of props (Bender Ball, Magic Circle, hand weights, resistance bands) to get you the best possible workout to accomplish your goals.

  • The short answer - it depends.

    The long answer - Let’s discuss your goals and the equipment you have before we meet to determine the best course of action. Some goals will be more effectively accomplished with the use of a Pilates Reformer. Other situations might find a Mat practice (easy to do in your home) most effective. We will work together to find the right balance between convenience and equipment needs.

  • You’re getting more than just use of the cardio and weight equipment at a gym. With me, you are getting a comprehensively-certified Pilates expert. I will tailor each and every session to your goals and work with you to give hands-on corrections and be sure your form is correct for every movement and that you’re feeling the work in the right places for each exercise. I don’t place you on a pre-made program to follow; I personalize the work to your goals and body. In my studio space, the equipment is high quality and is maintained at the highest level for your use. Put simply, you are paying for expert-tailored sessions and high-quality equipment with every workout.
